The Principal, Rainer Busch, is an aeronautical engineer by profession with >35 years’ experience in the development, applications and technical marketing of composite materials.  He has also worked on PCMs for several years and, during his career he has:

• Developed and commercialized a broad range of composite materials for the European aircraft industry; including both metallic and non-metallic honeycomb systems
• Successfully developed coating systems for metallic and non-metallic surfaces
• Developed a new process for making polymeric nano-fibres and particles for drug-release applications
• Developed and marketed a lime-based, microencapsulated PCM system
• Co-developed, with Phase Energy Ltd., a shape-stable, PCM-based cooling/heating system and filed a number of patent applications (see attached image of three different cooling modules)
